Yale Sustainability, in partnership with the Yale Alumni Association, invites you to offset the environmental impact of your travel and support the local community through the Yale Community Carbon Fund. While this is not a verified, one-to-one offset for carbon emissions, Yale Sustainability has established the values below based on average carbon emissions for standard routes. 

All proceeds will go to the Urban Resources Initiative (URI). URI plants trees in New Haven through its local green jobs program, GreenSkills, which provides paid training to high school students and adults with employment barriers. 

Ground travel: $25

Domestic roundtrip: $50

International roundtrip: $100

(Note: these are suggested amounts only.)

Contributions connected to reunion registration are tax deductible and will count toward class gifts. Each class will receive a tally of the number of trees planted following reunions.
